HYROX for lifters
Strong lifters often find the stations manageable and the running brutal. HYROX is 8 km of running, so that's where your plan should start.

What lifters need to know
- 1It's 8 km of running. That's half the race.
- 2Easy runs build the engine you need. Most of them should feel conversational.
- 3Train running straight off a station (compromised running).
- 4The sled isn't a max-effort lift. It's 50 m of steady pushing.
- 5Wall balls go faster in planned sets.
How to train
Start with run/walk intervals and build to a long run, while keeping one lifting day so you hold your strength. Give it time: 12 or 16 weeks is kinder on your joints than 8.

Questions
Can I do HYROX if I hate running?
Yes, but you'll need to build up to 8 km. Starting with run/walk intervals and adding a little each week gets most lifters there in 12 to 16 weeks.
